whistle2 Welcome to Voter Coach, a weekly feature during football season.  At Pollspeak, we have historically pointed out concerns with polls and ballots after the fact.  The goal of Voter Coach is to try to help voters before they turn in their ballots.

We’ll post a new Voter Coach each Saturday evening, ideally after all the biggest games are played, but before the ballots need to be turned in.  Voter Coach will point out some significant events of the current, past and upcoming weeks that voters should take into consideration when filling out their ballots.  We’ll keep them quick in order to make the ballot deadlines.  In some cases we may update Voter Coach throughout the day as games are completed.  We’ll also do our best to TWEET the points that can fit nicely into 140 characters.  So voters, check here before you turn in your ballots each week.

Pollspeak is trying something different this year for our weekly blog.  In the past, we used things like paragraphs, sentences and punctuation.  However, if Twitter has taught us anything, it’s that our fans like brief tidbits of info, and forget the fancy grammar, which is also perfect for Twitter.  So we’ll be analyzing the polls and tweeting the interesting things we find.

Then we’ll collect them all here (updated after every few tweets) for posterity and for those people who missed it on Twitter or, God forbid, don’t use Twitter.  We’ll also include details here for anything too big to tweet in its entirety.  We might even add the missing punctuation sometimes.
